Biography
Ryan McKenney currently serves as the Associate General Counsel of Compliance and Director of Government Relations for Quantinuum, a Honeywell spinout and leading integrated quantum computing company. In this role, Ryan works on legal compliance efforts and leads government affairs and policy efforts at Quantinuum’s Washington DC office.
Before Quantinuum, Ryan was an attorney at two large international law firms (Milbank and Orrick) focusing on technology transactions and privacy and cybersecurity compliance. Ryan is the co-founder and former chair of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) Law Committee. In addition to teaching at Vanderbilt, Ryan is an adjunct professor of law at Loyola Law School where he teaches two courses: "Privacy and Technology" and "The Regulation of Artificial Intelligence". Ryan graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2015 and earned his J.D. at Vanderbilt Law School in 2019 where he served as the Symposium Editor for the Vanderbilt Law review.
