Charles Grant is a veteran litigator who has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict in both federal and state course and represented numerous clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings across more than a dozen states. An expert in complex employment litigation, Grant has defended clients in class actions, collective actions and against claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Grant has practiced as a shareholder at Baker Donelson, where he is a member of the board of directors, since 2004. He started his legal career as an employee litigation associate with Dinsmore & Shohl. He was president of the Nashville Bar Association in 2014 and served on the board of directors of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, including as second vice president, from 2006 to 2014. He served for 12 years as chairman of the Nashville Business Incubation Center.
