Chip Hodgkins co-founded the litigation finance firm Statera Capital and has served as the firm's managing director since its inception. He is responsible for investment sourcing and structuring, portfolio management, fund finances and operations and investor relations. Hodgkins is also involved with investment underwriting and serves on Statera’s Investment Committee.
Hodgkins brings a wealth of financial, deal execution and investor relations experience to his teaching and his work at Stratera. He joined Stratera from InnerWorkings Inc. (Nasdaq: INWK), a $1 billion-revenue business services company, where he ultimately served as chief financial officer. At InnerWorkings, Hodgkins was directly responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing moe than 40 acquisitions, representing over $500 million in revenue and $350 million in deal value.
Hodgkins had previously founded and operated a boutique business brokerage Skyward Enterprises. His prior experience also includes roles in middle-market private equity (The Edgewater Funds), venture capital (CHL Medical Partners) and investment banking (Thomas Weisel Partners).
