Mark Chalos is the managing partner of Lieff Cabraser’s Nashville office. Professor Chalos has been appointed to leadership roles in numerous complex civil proceedings involving product defects that caused injuries or unfair economic loss. He is currently representing city and county governments, Native American tribes, and health benefit providers in litigation related to opioids. He served in a court-appointed national leadership role on the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee on behalf of Tennessee patients killed or left permanently injured following epidural steroid injunctions administration from contaminated medication manufactured by the New England Compounding Center in 2012. Chalos is a co-author of
Litigating International Torts in United States Courts (Thompson Reuters West, 2017 ed.), and he has published a number of articles in professional journals, including
TRIAL Magazine and
The Trial Lawyer. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
