Paul W. Ambrosius

Adjunct Professor of Law

Paul Ambrosius practiced complex litigation, appeals and election law with the Nashville law firm of Trauger & Tuke for 22 years. Professor Ambrosius has produced and given seminars on appeals, election law and health privacy rules. He has served as counsel to a number of political candidates and organizations. He was a James Weber Linn Scholar at the University of Chicago, where he earned an A.B. in history. After graduating from law school in 1997, he practiced international law and litigation with Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts in New York City before moving to Nashville. Ambrosius coaches Vanderbilt's Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court team. In February 2012, Vanderbilt's team won first place in the regional competition held in Denver, Colorado.
