Sara Beth Myers is an assistant U.S. Attorney in the civil rights and white collar crime division. Prior to her appointment, she joined the legal staff at the Tennessee Attorney General’s office after two years as an assistant district attorney in the Metropolitan Nashville District Attorney’s Office. Professor Myers practiced as an associate with Jones Day in Atlanta and then with Riley Warnock & Jacobson in Nashville before joining the Nashville District Attorney’s Office. She is the founder of Advocates for Women’s and Kids’ Equality (AWAKE), an advocacy organization that grew out of her work on domestic violence cases as an assistant district attorney.
