Daniel Gervais, professor of law, is the Yong Shook Lin Visiting Professor in Intellectual Property at the National University of Singapore in February 2015.
Gervais is teaching a short course, Private International Law of Intellectual Property, from February 3-17, while he is in residence. He will also deliver a February 12 lecture on copyright reform as part of a Distinguished Lecture series at the Intellectual Property Academy of Singapore.
Gervais directs Vanderbilt’s Intellectual Property Program and serves as faculty director of Vanderbilt’s LL.M. program. His research focuses on international intellectual property law. He is the author of The TRIPS Agreement: Drafting History and Analysis, a leading guide to the treaty that governs international intellectual property rights, and blogs about the TRIPS Agreement at tripsagreement.net.
