Yesha Yadav’s research explores the topics of securities market regulation, market structure, and bankruptcy and credit markets. As a valued member of the Vanderbilt law faculty and someone who has devoted her talents to the charge of equality on Vanderbilt’s campus and beyond, Dean Guthrie appointed her as the associate dean for diversity, equity and community. Dean Yadav also serves as the faculty director of the Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program and is a founding faculty advisor to the  law school’s EDI Council. In addition, Dean Yadav has substantial involvement in developing school initiatives for promoting student wellness. In 2016, she was appointed to serve on the Tennessee State Advisory Committee on Civil Rights and renewed for another term in summer 2020.

Esther Lee is a native of Fort Lee, New Jersey. At Vanderbilt, she serves as president of the Vanderbilt Bar Association. Esther attended Brandeis University and worked as a publicist in the nonprofit and entertainment sectors before attending Vanderbilt Law School. Upon graduation, she plans to join Fox Rothschild in New York City.

Noor Maarfi of Los Angeles, California, earned her B.A. at UCLA. At VLS, she is a Chancellor's Law Scholar and competes on the National Moot Court Travel Team. She is president of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association and a member of the Black Law Students Association. She was a summer law fellow with the Manhattan District Attorney in New York during summer 2020 and interned for Judge Gregory W. Alarcon of the Los Angeles County Superior Court in summer 2019.
