We are proud to celebrate our trans community members at Vanderbilt Law School and to honor their extraordinarily powerful contributions to culture and life at our school. At Vanderbilt, we are committed to standing with our LGBTQIA+ community members and to ensuring that they can feel completely free and safe to be fully themselves, achieve their potential and recognize Vanderbilt as a place they can steadfastly and always call home. We are most grateful for our student organization, OutLaw, that has organized an illuminating day of programming to celebrate this Trans Day of Visibility. OutLaw’s work has been invaluable throughout the year to uplift and educate, showcasing a deep reserve of dedication and compassion to amplify the voices of LGBTQIA+ people both within Vanderbilt and beyond.
