Kelly Bahiraei Returns to Vanderbilt Law as Assistant Dean for Legal Studies

Vice Dean Lisa Bressman announced that Kelly Bahiraei has been named Assistant Dean for Legal Studies, reporting to Vice Dean Lisa Bressman. In this new position, Bahiraei is responsible for providing management and development of the Master of Legal Studies, Undergraduate Minor in Legal Studies, and LL.M. programs.

“We are delighted to welcome Kelly back to the Law School,” said Bressman. “Under her leadership, our non-J.D. legal studies programs will be stronger than ever.”

Bahiraei served as Associate Director of Admissions, Recruitment, and International Student Services at Vanderbilt Law from 2014-2019. Prior to her return to the Law School, she worked at K&L Gates as Legal Recruiting Manager, responsible for hiring strategy and recruitment of law students, associates, and partners across many offices. Bahiraei previously worked at Bass, Berry & Sims, leading a team responsible for student programming and recruitment. She has also served as Assistant Director of Faculty Development in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Education at Vanderbilt.
