Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs Sue KayDuring summer 2013, 89 Vanderbilt Law students are pursuing externships for course credit at federal and state agencies; in federal, state and local judicial chambers; in federal and state attorneys’ and public defenders’ offices; in corporate legal departments; and with non-profit legal aid and advocacy organizations. Students are pursuing legal externships for credit in 25 states, Washington, D.C., and two foreign nations—Chile and China.
