Karl A. Racine, attorney general for the District of Columbia, will deliver the 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Lecture at Vanderbilt Law School on Monday, Jan. 31, at 12:30 p.m. via Zoom.
Racine was sworn in as D.C.’s first elected attorney general in 2015 and re-elected to a second term in 2018. His priorities for the District of Columbia include preserving affordable housing, employing evidence-based juvenile justice reforms, cracking down on slumlords, holding unscrupulous employers accountable for wage theft, and protecting consumers from scams and abusive business practices.
