“Paul’s experience working with health care providers, integrated health networks, payors and technology solutions will be an asset as we continue to implement our bold RxEvolution plan,” said Hayward Donigan, Rite Aid president and chief executive officer. “We’re excited to add his proven leadership experience and perspective to the team of senior leaders working toward a brighter future for Rite Aid.”
“This is an important time in healthcare, and Rite Aid is literally on the front lines of the critical mission to keep communities healthy and thriving,” Gilbert said. “I look forward to support that effort by further strengthening our internal legal, compliance, and governance-related capabilities so Rite Aid is well positioned to realize its vision for the future of pharmacy and pharmacists.”
