Alston Phillips is the Program Assistant for Development and Alumni Relations at Vanderbilt Law School. They earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a postgraduate certificate in Graphic Design and Visual Communications from Emory University, and vocational training in leather working from the Chicago School of Shoemaking and Leather Arts. At VLS, Alston supports alumni engagement and annual giving through email marketing and communications, records management, website content, and on-site event support. Outside of work, you can find them volunteering in Nashville’s queer community, honing their art skills, or enjoying a good book with a Dr. Pepper in hand.
