
Amy Enix joined Vanderbilt University’s legal writing faculty in 2018. Before coming to Vanderbilt, she served as an Associate Attorney at Manier & Herod in Nashville, TN, specializing in surety and fidelity matters. During her time at Manier & Herod, Professor Enix represented numerous insurers on coverage investigation, evaluation, and litigation, and other matters arising from fidelity and crime insurance policies, financial institution bonds, and other professional liability/risk policies. Professor Enix also represented sureties in matters involving commercial surety bonds such as construction payment bonds, notary bonds, administrator, guardian, executory, and other fiduciary bonds, motor vehicle bonds, and VA bonds. Immediately after law school, she also clerked for the Hon. Marcia Phillips Parsons, former Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Outside of work, Professor Enix enjoys spending time on the farm with her family, running, and riding horses.
