Clanitra Nejdl

Associate Director of Instruction, Lecturer in Law

Clanitra Nejdl is Head of Faculty Services and Professional Development at Vanderbilt’s Alyne Queener Massey Law Library. She is also a Lecturer in Law, teaching 1L and advanced legal research classes. Prior to joining the Law Library, she served for five years as a reference and instructional services librarian and an assistant professor at the Northern Illinois University College of Law Library, where she taught basic and advanced legal research classes.

Clanitra is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries, and the Chicago Association of Law Libraries, among other organizations. In 2022, Clanitra was selected as a Fastcase 50 award winner, a national award for legal innovators and leaders. She also received both the American Association of Law Libraries Emerging Leader Award and the AALL Spectrum Article of the Year Award in 2021.
