Cristina Gapasin Tortal is the Assistant Dean of Admissions at Vanderbilt Law School. She graduated from University of Iowa with a B.A. in Sociology & a B.S. in Political Science. She received her J.D. from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in the State of California. At Vanderbilt Law, Cristina oversees the J.D. Admissions Office seeking to recruit, admit, and enroll the best and brightest to study law in Nashville. Outside of work, you can find Cristina cheering on her beloved Iowa Hawkeyes during football season or traveling with her husband. Food & fellowship are high on her love languages. She will never say no to grabbing coffee.
