Delaney Beck is a sixth-year student in the Ph.D. Program in Law and Economics whose research focuses on gender discrimination. She currently represents the program on Vanderbilt’s Graduate Student Council and was a Student Writing Editor for Vanderbilt’s Transnational Law Review from 2023–2024. Since 2021, she has been a research assistant for Professor Joni Hersch. In the summer of 2024, Delaney held a summer associate position at Scudder Law Firm in Lincoln, Nebraska. Most recently, she served as a 2025 Summer Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York City. As an undergraduate at Wagner College, she was an NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer player.
