I went to Vanderbilt as an undergrad and got a music degree playing the double bass. I liked the school, and I hate change, so I came back to Vandy for law school, and am now a 2L. I still play in a little bluegrass band which performs mostly at Duke Law student functions, hence the band’s name, “Blue Process.”
I wanted to be an Academic Success Fellow because I liked the sound of the program and thought I would be a good fit. It seemed like a great opportunity to get to know my classmates better. Most importantly, the opportunity to help people who are stressed out is the sort of thing that makes me feel useful. My hope for the program is that we establish it as a dependable and useful service for students who are feeling swamped or confused.
