Meet Joscelin:

Hi! I am Joscelin and I grew up in Naperville, Illinois and Friendswood, Texas. I went to the University of Alabama for undergrad (Roll Tide) where I studied Economics and French.

Since coming to VLS, I have been an active member of the Ambassadors program. I love getting students excited about attending Vanderbilt and sharing my experiences to help prospective students understand what life is like at VLS. One of my inspirations for pursuing law came from reading Anthony Ray Hinton’s book The Sun Does Shine, so I was extremely grateful to pursue death penalty work this past summer at the Tennessee Office of the Post-Conviction Defender. This upcoming summer, I will be working at Kirkland & Ellis in the corporate division which will give me an opportunity to pursue my interests in securities and M&A.
