Maggie Gilbert (she/her), a member of the VLS Class of 2025, is originally from Natick, Massachusetts, and earned her undergraduate degree in Educational Studies, Policy and Reform from Rhodes College. She has volunteered as an ESL tutor, interned for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, and now serves as an extern for the Tennessee Department of Education in the Special Education Group. Her commitment to social justice is underscored by her particular interest in education rights, juvenile justice, and reproductive rights.
