Hello everyone! My name is Nate Garcia, and I’m a 3L in the JD/MSF program here at Vanderbilt. After growing up in the foothills of Colorado, I came to Vanderbilt to pursue a career in corporate law for a large firm in Dallas, Texas. I became a fellow to give back to a school that has offered me more opportunities than I ever imagined. When I started law school, I had no idea how to succeed—but with the support of my peers, mentors, and the Office of Student Life, I found my footing and achieved my goals. Along the way, I picked up valuable lessons that I hope to pass on to the next generation of Vanderbilt Law students.
