Olivia Blackmon

Olivia Blackmon is the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Student Life at Vanderbilt Law School. She brings a passion for language, culture, and student engagement to her work. At VLS, Olivia supports OSL programming and signature events throughout the academic year, assists with day-to-day office operations, including procurement and communications, and brings a warm smile to the front desk. Before joining Vanderbilt Law School, Olivia worked in language education and cultural exchange, supporting federally funded language programs and student initiatives. A Boren scholar, she completed an immersive capstone year in Taiwan, where she conducted Mandarin-language research and strengthened her intercultural communication skills. Olivia is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for students to thrive personally and academically. Outside of work, Olivia is a serial hobbyist whose perennial staples include reading, dancing, volunteering with children, and enjoying nature.
