Meet Yuji:
Hey y’all! My name’s Yuji and I’m a 2L here at Vanderbilt Law. I was born in France and grew up in Singapore before moving to the U.S., and I now call Houston home! I earned my B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, with minors in Business and Law, and started law school right after graduating. This past summer, I worked as a 1L Summer Associate at a law firm in their business group, and I’ll be heading back next summer.
As a first-generation law student, starting law school was exciting but equally as daunting. I’m proud to say that Vanderbilt’s collaborative community made all the difference in my experience. The environment here is one that encourages both academic growth and genuine connection, and as an Admissions Ambassador, I hope to help prospective students feel that same sense of belonging and support.
Outside of law school, I love art, true crime documentaries, and exploring Nashville’s food and music scene. Feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to chat or answer questions. Anchor down!
