Randall Thomas, the John S. Beasley II Professor of Law and Business and director of the Law and Business Program, has been named a Research Fellow of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). The ECGI is an international scientific non-profit association based in Brussels, Belgium, that acts as a focal point for academics in a number of disciplines, including economics, law, finance and management, whose work addresses various aspects of corporate governance. Professor Thomas’s current research addresses the impact of shareholder activism on corporate governance, executive compensation and corporate voting.
