Ten Vanderbilt Law students will work this summer in state and federal judicial chambers, in the offices of U.S. and District Attorneys, and in other government law offices as Branstetter Summer Fellows.
The Branstetter Litigation and Dispute Resolution Program awards up to 10 summer fellowships each year to enable law students interested in litigation careers to work in unpaid summer internships in federal and state judicial chambers and government law offices and with legal nonprofits. Fellows receive stipends to help defray their living costs while working as interns.
“These fellowships enable students to gain valuable legal experience and learn how judicial chambers and government legal departments operate,” said Associate Dean for Research Ingrid Wuerth, who directs the Branstetter Litigation and Dispute Resolution Program.
